Lasting Power Of Attorney

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) give you control over who manages your affairs when you no longer have the capacity to do so yourself. SWLaw Solicitors in Devon will guide you through important considerations when appointing an Attorney and will relieve you of the practicalities of completing the forms.

There are two types of LPA; one to deal with matters relating to your Property and Affairs and the other for your Health and Welfare.

If you do not have anyone who you are comfortable appointing as an Attorney we can provide an Attorney to act for you in the day-to-day management of your affairs.

We can provide assistance in relation to registering Enduring Powers of Attorney, creating General Powers of Attorney and appointing a Deputy to manage the personal affairs of a person who is lacking capacity where there is no Power of Attorney in place.

We offer fixed legal fees in relation to the creation and registration of all types of Powers of Attorney.
