SOMERSET COASTAL ACCESS REPORT PUBLISHED
ACTION REQUIRED BY MIDNIGHT 12TH DECEMBER 2013
This Report...
-Concerns a 90 kilometre stretch of coast path between Brean Down and Minehead; and
-Sets out proposals for improved access to this length of coastal footpath;
-Objections and representations to the Report must be submitted to the Secretary of State by midnight on the 12th December 2013.
Due to the processes involved prior to the preparation of the report, for example, ‘walking the course’, affected landowners and occupiers should be aware that the process is ongoing. However, it is essential that they now read the Report in detail and if appropriate lodge their objections by 12th December 2013
-Only affected landowners and occupiers may make objections;
-Non landowners and occupiers may make representations;
-Objections must be contained in the prescribed form and relate to specified subject areas.
